That’s a HUGE blow to that team. The strength of that offense is the WR corps, with Nicks, Smith, and Manningham. This makes Nicks and Manningham the starters, with Ramses Barden filling in as the 3. It really changes their entire offensive scheme, as they’ll be a lot less likely to utilize the 3-WR sets that have worked so nicely for them so far this season. Big loss.
true, but not true
as you said, we have the pharoah Ramses ready to step into that role. also don’t forget about Travis Beckum, who has played alot of snaps lined up opposite LB and safeties, and has actually contributed well in his limited opptys. look for them to split snaps tomorrow. i really don’t think it will change our offensive gameplan much.
Yes, I am a Giants fan. Now that we got that out of the way....

Barden might be ready to step into the role, but lets not go crazy here…the guy has done nothing in his career thus far. I’m not saying he can’t, but he has to prove he’s capable before he gets credit for being able to step into a role.
agreed
but at some point we have to find out what we have in him, just like you guys did with ole Riley. so while SS12 recoups, let’s see what he can do, so we know whether or not we can move on from him.
i still don’t understand why we IRed Victor Cruz, but whatever…..complaint dept. is closed for the day.

Good news
I never celebrate anyones injury. But it sounds like he will recover,so hes one less threat for us to worry about.
