Chiefs at Colts- Take away the records and this game looks like a blowout. At Indy, Colts coming off loss, Chiefs secondary will be overmatched againist typical great passing attack from Peyton Manning. Having said that the Chiefs are 3-0 and they are improved in all phases of the game from last year. Still, Colts don't lose multiple games in a row very often especially to mediocre teams. Colts by 21
Giants at Texans- Giants, like every other season under Coughlin, are unbelievably unpredictable. They tear up the Panthers in week 1, get torn up in week 2 by the Colts, beat themselves early againist the Titans in week 3 and then in week 4 their defensive line beat the Bears 17-3 by themselves. 2 things have been consistent with this team so far- Hakeem Nicks looks great and this team is unpredictable. Could turn into a shootout which favors a more careful and more explosive offense in the Texans. Texans by 10.
Titans at Cowboys- Bad matchup here as Vince Young struggles againist strong pass rush which is what the cowyboys have and Chris Johnson struggles againist physical defenses which is what the cowboys are. Prove me wrong Titans. cowboys by 17.
Eagles at 49ers- 2 weeks ago when the Vikings signed Hank Baskett I thought they were the most desperate team in the NFL. This week the 49ers have easily passed them as the media crowned their ass as NFC West champs before the season even started and now they are 0-4 and two games back of the St. Louis Rams. The 49ers have the best tight end in football in Vernon Davis and the best linebacker in football in Patrick Willis but absolutley nothing else. Key matchup here is the physical but slower corners of the 49ers with Shanwntee Spencer and Nate Clements and the lighting quick recievers DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin. LeSean McCoy playing is probably the difference in this game but it won't be easy or pretty. Eagles by 4.
Vikings at Jets- Sorry to say but this looks like another blowout in a week of boring one sided affairs. Favre is slower and his offensive line looks average. Jets defensive pressure is flat out sick and that was before they got Calvin Pace back this week. Oh yeah and Reevis wants revenge on Moss to back up all that smack he talked this week. Vikings defense has to keep this one close like the Ravens D did to the Jets in week 1. Too bad Favre is a turnover machine this year. Look for Tavarious Jackson to play either in mop up duty or Favre gets knocked out. Jets by 24
Falcons at Browns- Here is my upset special. Browns have been in every game this season and the defense and running game has gotten better every week. Mangini is actually doing a good job this season keeping in mind he has no talent at quarterback or wide reciever/tight end. Falcons offense seems dependent on the running game. Big special teams play should of been the difference last week againist the 49ers but Nate Clements ruined that. This week look for Josh Cribbs to make a big play to decide this one. Browns by 3.
PS- JImmy Clausen gets first win this week at home againist the Cutler-less Bears. Lions and Bills get first win of season.
