What happened to Dallas?

Seriously, what the hell happened down in Dallas? How does a team go from thoroughly dominating the Eagles for two straight weeks to this? I mean it isn't like the Cowboys went through coaching changes and they're having trouble grasping a new scheme. It isn't like they lost a bunch of talent, the two notable players they lost are Flozell Adams and Ken Hamlin, not exactly players who are crucial to team success. I just can't understand how a team that was so good late last season can be so terrible the next year without losing important players and without a scheme change? What happened to Dallas?

Felix Jones is still there. Miles Austin, Jason Witten, DeMarcus Ware, Anthony Spencer, Mike Jenkins, Jay Ratliff, Terrence Newman, Marion Barber and Doug Free are all still in Dallas. Plus this year Roy Williams is playing better than ever and Dez Bryant is on the team. The team on paper is better than last years. What the hell happened. How does a team that didn't have these issues last year suddenly have a myriad of problems this year?

Oh well… Karma for being a bunch of asshats I guess. Its all good for the Eagles though! How 'bout them 1-7 Cowboys! Thats 'Merica's team right thur! Cowboys fans must really be devestated though, first the Yankees get eliminated and now the Cowboys are on pace for a top 5 pick? Oh well, theres always hope I guess. And by hope I mean the Lakers.

Two things:

1) Their o-line SUCKS. The main piece of a good offense is a good o-line. Their o-line is old and terrible.

2) They are undisciplined. Stupid mistakes after stupid mistakes after stupid mistakes. Million and one penalties, dropped passes (some which turn into interceptions – see today), blown coverages, easy field goals missed, etc.

It’s totally awesome. :D

I really (as every year) feel this year we can make it to the Super Bowl, but only with Mike Vick at QB healthy. The only team in the NFC that scares me is …. can’t think of any.

I think

they are 1-6 but that still sucks and it is great. Jerry Jones actually misspoke and said they were 1-7 which shows his confidence.

…is horrible. I don’t know how their idiot fanbase isn’t livid over their drafting. They get one contributor a year and call it a success.

Look, Dex Bryant may turn out to be a really good wide receiver. He certainly has flashed some significant ability. BUT THEY DIDN’T NEED HIM! They NEEDED an offensive lineman or 3. They NEEDED a starter at safety. But they DRAFTED a wide receiver.

Okay, who knew Williams would finally look okay again. But if you look at their team, you will see that the only depth they have is at wide receiver and running back. And for a team that refuses to run the ball, and makes so many mistakes in the passing game, that is hilarious.

Jerry Jones is a glorified Matt Millen. If it wasn’t for Parcells drafting guys like Witten, Barber, late rounder Ratliff then the UDFAs Romo and Austin…they’d have nothing.

Yea..Bryant is probably gonna be real good and a pain in the arse for the next 6-8 years, but who cares?
