Me and a group of guys went down to Nashville for the Eagles game. Great city to visit with excellent food, especially the BBQ. Even for a guy like me who doesn't necessarily like country music the honky tonks and bars were a blast. The people were extremely friendly and they had something I'd never seen before; an erotic haunted house. Some pics from the game and around the stadium after the jump.
First off , let me tell you I was feeling pretty confident going into the game because Elvis told me the Birds were going to win going away
We were feeling a little guilty because it wasn't till about three and a half hours before game time that we arrived on the lot but as you can see from the picture below, that was taken an hour and fifteen minutes before kickoff, we weren't the only late arrivals.
We met a great policeman who let us park for free at the back of a lot that was supposed to be for permit holders only. Try this on a Philly cop and you'll probably get a wooden shampoo from his baton.
Just outside the stadium we encountered a little Titans pep rally. They didn't seem to mind that much when me and thirty other guys drowned out their Titans chant with the Eagles fight song.
We got in and were pleasantly surprised to find that our seats were five rows back in the end zone. From here we had a great view of the player introductions. Here's Chris Johnson coming out and to his left is the Titans Mascot a raccoon. I'm not sure what a raccoon has to do with the football team, except maybe that they're considered a delicacy in some parts down there.
Early in the game Elvis' prediction was looking very solid. Especially here with Cooper catching the ball down around the Titans three.
But everything went south fast after the fumble that ensued,
It was a long walk of shame across the Cumberland River but fortunately there were many bars on the other side to drown our sorrows.
Good time over all. Does anyone know where I can review Fox's broadcast of the game? Looks like me and my buds made an appearance.
