Maclin named week 16 rookie of the week
After being nominated for the award a number of times this year, Jeremy Maclin finally won the rookie of the week award thanks to one of his best performances of the season.
Voters on NFL.com have made their choice. Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin of the Philadelphia Eagles is the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week for games played on Dec. 25-28.
Maclin made six catches for 92 yards, including a 27-yard grab along the sideline that set up the game-winning field goal in the Eagles' 30–27 victory over the Denver Broncos.
It wasn't Maclin's best statistical game, but the fantastic game clinching catch made down the sidelines is something you don't often see rookies do. It was a huge play in a big game and really capped off a nice afternoon for the Eagles rookie.

Finally
"... You play to win the game. Hello? You play to win the game. You don't play it to just play it. That's the great thing about sports: you play to win..."
exactly what I was thinking
I even made a post complaining how they didn’t credit him when he had 142 yards and 2 touchdowns and this time he wins with 92 yards…It’s baffling…
Why the hell is Darius Heyward-Bey still on the cover for Rookie of the Week voting?
Spinning a football like hes hot shit. If he was in prison; you know the saying “don’t drop the soap”, well he would be fucked…….both literally and figuratively.
