What is about the Wide Receiver position that gives one the idea that he is somehow permitted to be a prima donna pantywaist?  From Chad Johnson to Terrell Owens to the newest Brandon Marshall flareup, this seems to be an epidemic.

Look, I make no secrets about my positions on Andy Reid (can't stand him), but it is tough to envision a player stepping way out of line and attempting to publicly unman him the same way Brandon Marshall did to Josh McDaniels.  In a recent bout of bitch-boy behavior, the pouty receiver, when attempting to milk a hamstring injury said, "I don't think coach ever played in the NFL, so for my hamstring to be feeling the way it felt, it's tough for me to go out there and expect to play at a high level."  Marshall is a major liability for the Broncos as they have completely crashed and burned since their 6-0 start.  I seem to remember a vocal minority of the BGN'ers wanting Marshall on this team (I'm looking in your direction, JIBTA), and this latest incident should remind us of two things...1) Our receiving corps is pretty damn good and doesn't need upgrading and 2) No matter how much some of us might loathe Reid's coaching, drafting, etc., he keeps his guys in check.  Loudmouth douchebags like Marshall would have been cut.  And rightly so.
