The Linc - Maclin's mark

Eagles by the Numbers: Maclin Makes His Mark
In NFL history, only Randy Moss has had more yards (regular season and playoff) before his 22nd birthday than Maclin. He’s the seventh player in NFL history – and the second Eagle in two years – to surpass 750 receiving yards before his 22nd birthday.

NFL fines Dallas safety Ken Hamlin $12,500 | ProFootballTalk.com
The fine came for hitting Eagles tight end Brent Celek in the helmet in the first half. Hamlin was also penalized for a late hit on Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin

Favre: 'It will be a shock' if Vikings lose to Cowboys | Philadelphia Daily News | 01/14/2010
"Honestly, I see us sitting here next week having this press conference again," Favre said, anticipating a Vikings victory over the Cowboys and an advancement to the NFC Championship Game. "If that doesn't happen, to me it will be a shock. So I just haven't thought about what next year will be like, or what I will be doing next week."

Tim McDermott, Sean's brother, is back with Eagles | Philadelphia Daily News | 01/14/2010
Tim McDermott returned to the team yesterday as a senior vice president and chief marketing officer. He previously worked with the organization as senior director of marketing before spending 4 years with the Washington Capitals.

Super Bowl Commercial Prices Are Down: Place An Order Today! - SB Nation
Ever thought the Super Bowl was too costly to advertise with? Well, today is your lucky day as the price for a single thirty second spot in one of the most watched events has dropped as low as $2.5 million. This would be just the second time in the event's history that the Super Bowl took a decrease in ad sales, after last year's record average price of $3 million (2007 was the previous year with a drop).

Stan Hochman: A few special award-winning Eagles | Philadelphia Daily News | 01/13/2010
HE PLAYERS voted unanimously to give Michael Vick the Ed Block Award for Courage (does that mean that Vick abstained), and the controversy raged, pro, and you should excuse the expression, con. Debate is healthy. Problem is, the noisy storm drowned out any reaction to some other "awards" the Eagles considered. The Daily News, as a public service, has ferreted out those mythical honors. Argue if you must.

Ok..the Favre comment.

Now, I understand that the press has an obligation to themselves to print, provacative and possibly, incendiary titles to their copies, but we should be more or less immune to these efforts.

I read through that article looking for some way that Brett Graybeard screwed the pooch before the Cowboys game publically, but it was a non-issue. A total non-story. And that’s fine. I wasn’t really hoping for it…but of course, these drama centered society that we swim in would beg otherwise.

So people, easy with the vitriol. The guy would be shocked if he lost because he plans on playing into the Bowl…this has nothing to do with a diss of the Cowboys.

I'd be shocked

If the Cowboys took it that way, but I agree with you. These reporters like to make stories of non-stories all the time. It certainly happens enough in Philadelphia every time McNabb or Hamels opens their mouths (although, to be fair, sometimes they do say some headscratching shit).

ONLY 2.5 MILLION?!

I mean…sure I can use 2.5 million dollars on a 30 second commercial.

Or..you know…give money to Haiti.

Maclin is a beast.

In my definition of a number 1 WR ,Maclin is a true number 1. Short, deep, outside the numbers, inside the number, underneath.
He is big strong and fast. Your outside WRs are set for 8 more years.

KICK ASS every day!!!
