If you don't live near Philly, how do you get your Eagles fix?
Many options exist from the local sports bar (annoying) to NFL Ticket (expensive) to justin.tv (unreliable). But I just discovered a new option, that I'm almost 95% certain I'm going to go with:
NFL Game Rewind from the NFL Network. You pay $50 ($40 if you only want Eagles games) and you have access to HD rewinds of every single game from the 2008 and 2009 seasons. Games are posted on Sunday at midnight after the games are played.
The drawbacks are you don't get to watch the games live and you have to watch them streamed over your computer, but even when I had NFL Ticket last year I ended up DVR'ing half of them to watch later. Plus, it's pretty straight-forward connecting your laptop to your flat screen.
To me this is a dream come true, and allows me to catch every game without any effort or worry on my part.
I've got a flight to catch at 1pm on a Sunday afternoon. No problem. Wife wants to have some husband-wife time right at kick-off. No problem (in fact I probably won't even tell the wife about this and make her think I'm being extra generous by giving up my Eagles for her from time to time).
And if I'm lucky enough that the Eagles game is broadcasted live, then I get to re-watch any game highlights immediately afterwards (although DVR accomplishes the same feat). But with all the 2008 games there too, I'm looking forward to watching 44-6, the two Meadowlands wins, and the Steelers sack feast at some point during the season.
I'm going to have to be disciplined enough to ignore any scores, RSS feeds, emails, text messages, etc... until I watch the game. Also, I pray that NFL Network in all it's glory doesn't post the game rewinds with links like "Philadelphia 38, Carolina 10."
And since I love polls, I'm going to throw one on this post to get an idea how BGN takes their games.

You guys think you have it hard...
I live in Canada :( All i pretty much get is Monday Night Football and maybe 1 game a week, which never ends up being the Eagles. So I watch my games online. I know a bunch of sites that broadcast all sports and I always find an Eagles broadcast or two.
Ten Yard Torrents
They get the games up between a couple of hours to a couple of days (kinda sucks). But they are free, and usually are in pretty damn good quality.
I’m looking forward to watching 44-6, the two Meadowlands wins, and the Steelers sack feast at some point during the season.
I really hope you meant sack fest.

Well living in Oregon if I didn’t have NFL Sunday Ticket I wouldn’t get to watch them that much, and that would drive me crazy.

NFL Sunday Ticket
It’s expensive, but I have to have it. I live in Florida, and only occasionally are Eagles games on regularly… I have to watch them live, and in HD. Especially true this year since I have a baby at home, so I can’t go out to the Eagles bar in Fort Lauderdale.
Plus Sunday Ticket is going to have mobile viewing this year, whch means I can watch over my iPhone in December when we’re up in Carolina visiting my wife’s parents for Christmas. Which is nice.
Try living in ireland
Barely any games are on the tv and theyre all 5 hours later. Thats assuming theyre on the east coast

this only works for people outside the country...
But im overseas right now and yahoo offers NFL season pass. 19.99 per game, 129.99 for the whole season. Streams live over the internet. Its how I watch the games over here.

Sunday Ticket
I watch most games at home via Sunday Ticket since I have 3 babies in the fold. I will occasionally head out to a local bar that also has Direct TV. I am inevitably the only Eagles fan in the bar. Like most Eagles fans, alcohol and an Eagles loss makes me an a-hole. Took my daughter to DisneyLand last year for her b-day. Left her with mom to watch the NFC Championship Game at the ESPNZone. Got 86’d after the Curtis drop/PI non-call. It was a proud moment.
Orlando area
I hear there are a couple of Wing Shacks in south Orlando that draw 100+ green-shirted crazies for every game. They even play Kate Smith before big games. That’s 40 min from me. Does anybody know of any north Orlando bird nests? I went to a local-to-me sports bar once that shows all the games but there were way too many Cowboys fans in there to make it “pleasant”. It happened to be the Ravens game last year…very bad day anyway, so maybe I should give that place another chance.
