Every year before week one, I like to go through the schedules of our division and "figure out" who the playoff contenders are. Barring injury, this is my take:
Giants win it at 12-4: They sweep Washington to go 4-2 in the Division, sweep the AFC West, and give up a loss to the NFC South (and I'm picking week 6 as a fluke loss to NO in the dome), I'm also giving them a late season loss to the Vikings in Minnesota
Eagles Finish 2nd at 10-6: I have us splitting the Division, going 3-1 with the NFC South (taking a loss to Atlanta in the Georgia Dome), 3-1 with the AFC West (taking a loss vs SD in Cali), and also a November loss to Chicago (cuz we just can't seem to beat them)
Cowboys come in a close 3rd at 9-7: They also split the division, they sweep the AFC West, but take 2 losses to the NFC South (Carolina and New Orleans), also I think Seattle is going to surprise them with a loss, and I they'll lose a November game at Lambeau Field. That said, I think they meet the Eagles week 17 with both teams sitting at 9-6 fighting for a wildcard AGAIN!
Washington loses the division at 8-8: They're swept by the Giants to go 2-4 in the division; They get bested 1-3 by the NFC South (their only win coming against Tampa), and they take a single loss to the AFC West vs San Diego
