I think Tra is strictly a LT, I am not sure how well he would do on the right side

there is not much distinction from the players standpoint even though mentally there may seem to be.
The reason LT is touted as being more important than RT is because most QBs in the league are righties so the LT protects the blind side. You also tend to face the best pass rusher on the field due to this fact. The mechanics are the same the schemes are the same.
