4 signed to the practice squad

The Eagles announced on Sunday that they have signed wide receiver Danny Amendola, tight end Rob Myers and guards Mike Gibson and Paul Fanaika to the practice squad

I am kind of surprised Amendola didn't get picked up by another team. Who do you guys think will be the other 4?

I think it will be Jack Ikegwuonu, Bryan Smith, Lorenzo Booker(I think he can still go on), and either Josh Gaines or Marcus Mailei

but i dont think he can, if a player is on IR the previous year , he would be ineligible

I think they will sign jack and bryan

and leave 2 open for after other signings/cuts

Jack can get on the practice squad, Booker though can’t I asked Adam Caplan and he said no since he was on the roster for more then 8 games last year.

I am so happy Amendola is on this team. He can be a terrific punt returner for this team. Also, I think we’ll be signing that rookie FB to the practice squad as well.

Ike cannot be on the practice squad..

He was placed on IR so I dont think he can be put on the practice squad…
Booker doesnt deserve to touch an eagles uniform ever.
Bryan Smith is a joke, Babin beat him out lol.
Josh Gaines could be a pretty good project, I could see him getting signed.
and the FB could be signed just because weaver is only signed for 1 year.

but also look at other teams cut players, we dont only have to look at the ones we cut.

so happy amendola is still with us

i knew he wouldnt make the 53 man roster, but i thought a team would sign him once we released him. i really hope the eagles bring in mailei, bryan smith, and jack (although im not sure if hes eligable)

Practice Squad Eligibility
According to league policy, only certain types of players are allowed to sign to the practice squad. Players cannot have played more than nine regular season games or been on the active roster for an entire year, nor can players be allowed to spend more than two seasons on the same team’s squad unless that team’s active roster never dips below 53 players.

correct me

if im wrong but aren’t practice squad players fair game still? meaning that they still be picked up by any team willing to give them a shot on the 53 man roster?
