Around SBN: Odds On Peyton Manning's Next Home Includes Three Teams

Another possibility?...

This is rather interesting...In our search for another good linebacker, I have come across one who has fallen from grace. Observe this: http://www.kcchiefs.com/depth_chart/

Star-divide

Former 4-3 Strongside Linebacker Derrick Johnson is listed as the 3rd string left inside linebacker. I suppose his transition to the middle in the new 3-4 in Kansas City has been a rough one, and since we are looking for a trading partner to get rid of Reggie and AJ, this would make some sense.

yeah...it could work.

but i think i would rather have ben watson or scheffler. if we can’t get a good tight end from somewhere, this might not be such a bad idea. now….some would say the guy’s a bust, but just look how babin is doing. the guy might just need a change of scenery. if we could get him for a reasonable price, it could be a good fit.

i liked it too

I was thinking about this idea since after the draft. But the only problem is that since they are making the transition to the 3-4 this year, they are going to try and keep him around to see how it works out. Its his last year but if they transition turns out successful for him they won’t let him go. It also doesn’t help that we play them week 3. I like the idea though. Ironically, I traded Reggie Brown and a 4th rounder for him in Madden. I won the superbowl.

Am I the only person that’s OK with Tony Curtis as our backup TE?

I am the people's troll :3™

Not at all

I know it was one preseason game, but I thought he looked great. He caught what was thrown to him and he seemed to move well. Line him up opposite Celek in the red zone and you have another threat at your disposal.

yea i was

talking with my boy earlier about d johnson. He would be the best LB on our team with bradley gone. I would love for this to happen

is that even a possibility?

DJohnson has an undisclosed injury. If he’s ok I’m sure he’s better than Gocong, Gaither and Jordan. Forget TE for now. Celek is a good enough starter. If we can get a starting player that upgrades the team we should do that.

Pull the trigger Big Red.

I heard that they are looking for a WR to compliment Bowe. We have a shitload of WRs. That would be sweet.
