Eagles cut three players
The Eagles have begun the process of cutting down to the 53 man roster by dropping three players today. After cutting linebacker Curtis Gatewood, tight end Eugene Bright, and defensive tackle Willie Williams, the roster now stands at 72 players. There are no real surprises there. After releasing those three, the Eagles still have to drop 19 more players before 6:00 pm tomorrow night.
I’m crossing my fingers to see Brandon Gibson and Eldra Buckley make the squad. It seems Buckley is a shoe-in but Gibson is on the bubble. He may get edged by Hank Baskett due to his abilities on special teams. The coaches are going to have a real tough decision there.
What players are you hoping to see make the team?
