Good list...

be interesting to see if the eagles make any trades or pick anyone up after roster cuts.

by hoya03 on Sep 4, 2009 3:19 AM EDT via mobile reply actions

perfect

except brown is a lock over basket .. do u realize u can not cut brown .. look at his cap hit .. there is 0 chance he gets cut .. and i dont see them trading him

by jack is better than asante on Sep 4, 2009 3:55 AM EDT reply actions

brown doesn’t play special teams…. I expect we trade him, but a 6th WR that does absolutely nothing in most games isn’t worth it

by Smallbugger on Sep 4, 2009 7:59 AM EDT up reply actions

No

You’re both wrong. After watching the game last night Amendola gets a spot above both Brown and Baskett.

by Cowboy KILLER on Sep 4, 2009 8:30 AM EDT up reply actions

He did drop 2 balls on his lap. Basket makes the team.

Jets already inquired on Basket, and the price was too high so they backed off. Why shake away a trade, if your gonna cut him. He makes the squad above Amendola.

While I agree

with your statement about cutting him we could still trade. If the Jets are interested in him maybe we trade for Woodhead and cut/ practice squad Buckley.

by Cowboy KILLER on Sep 4, 2009 1:10 PM EDT up reply actions

maybe i’m crazy, but i almost see amendola making this team more than baskett. it’s so weird, for the first time in…. forever, we have too many options at the receiver spot.

by awd777 on Sep 4, 2009 7:39 AM EDT reply actions

It’s a possibility based on playing time last night. Would be a little shocked though not against it.

by andyreidswaistline on Sep 4, 2009 7:41 AM EDT up reply actions

Naah

Amendola wont make the roster, but he will deffinetly be on our practice squad. I think that we should trade Reggie Brown for Danny Woodhead, that kid was simply impressive last night and in my opinion he is better then Booker and Buckley and have tons more potential then they do.
Btw nice list of final roster

by Isi_eagle on Sep 4, 2009 8:07 AM EDT reply actions

I have some differences than you.
We keep 3 TE
I get the Feeling the Kevin Curtis might be the odd man out. (Don’t Hate, I like KC)
Just a guess. However Hank and Reggie coming in late was a bad sign.
Ammendola will get PS’d and snatched right up.
Kolb is our #2 not our #3

by EagleGreeninMD on Sep 4, 2009 8:14 AM EDT reply actions

3 for 5

Kolb is #3, has to be, so we have one more player on the 45 man active roster
Curtis is stayin this season, still has some skill and we need the consistency

the other 3 are good to go by me

RIP JJ & HK
Let the future judge Michael Vick

by BadCo'09 on Sep 4, 2009 8:24 AM EDT up reply actions

agreed, Kolb is #3 inactive, and is designated emergency QB.

But in the event of injury, Kolb starts next game, not Vick. But if game is out of reach, Vick finishes the game because he will be on the active roster to enable him to come in for wildcat plays.

by yophillybro on Sep 4, 2009 9:17 AM EDT up reply actions

we will keep 2 TE's

b/c we have Ingrim although IR’d , Kevin Curits is our 2nd best WR, Ammendola will be cut b/c we have too many WR’S (FOR ONCE!),and Kolb has to be third for us to use Vick

Bleed green, or don't bleed at all!

by yophillybro on Sep 4, 2009 9:11 AM EDT reply actions

granted, I was generous on the OLine by keeping McGlynn when we already have Cole for back up center.

Andy may decide to keep Jack Ikeguano, just as a project player, and cut McGlynn.

Agreed!

I pretty much agree right on with this roster.

I wish there was a way to keep Amendola. I like that kid a lot but just a numbers game. I hope we sign him to practice squad.
