Week 3 in Pictures
With yesterday’s victory over the Chiefs lingering in our minds, let’s relax a bit and take a gander at some exciting photos from Sunday’s matchup, courtesy of www.philadelphiaeagles.com:

Both starting QB Donovan McNabb (left) and RB Brian Westbrook (right) were absent from the game with injuries, but that didn’t affect the contest’s outcome.

In place of McNabb, young backup Kevin Kolb started the game as the Eagles’ Quarterback, and played quite well, throwing for over 300 yards and scoring a total of 3 touchdowns.

Former Falcon and preseason acquisition Michael Vick (shown taking the snap) saw his first action as an Eagle, rushing for 7 yards and playing decoy to the Chiefs’ defense while handing the ball off on several plays.

WR DeSean Jackson sprints down the field on what would become a 64-yard TD, and only one of many great plays the talented receiver made against Kansas City.

The hungry Philadelphia defensive unit placed heavy pressure on the Chiefs all afternoon, and this devastating sack by several Eagle linemen (including DE Chris Clemons [#91]) proves that.

TE Brent Celek (# 87) celebrates (along with entire Lincoln Financial Field crowd) after scoring on a 35-yard TD pass in the 4th quarter of Sunday’s game.

The Birds’ defensive domination is displayed once again, as a few defensive linemen pile onto Kansas City’s Matt Cassel.

Rookie player LeSean McCoy, starting in place of Brian Westbrook at RB, runs anxiously through a hole in the Chiefs’ defense. The NFL freshmen gained 91 total yards and a TD on Sunday.

Fans surround the Birds’ mascot–Swoop–in celebration, as the team crushes the Chiefs by a score of 34-14.

The top one of Mcnabb and Westbrook has to be the one that sticks up. Scary stuff for the Eagles.
