Around SBN: Peyton Manning Medically Cleared To Resume NFL Career

Record setting day for Kevin Kolb and Desean Jackson

I just got these stats from the NFL. Both Kevin Kolb and DeSean Jackson reached milestones today that no other player in NFL history has...

Philadelphia quarterback Kevin Kolb passed for 327 yards in the Eagles’ 34-14 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, his second consecutive 300-yard game. Kolb became the first quarterback in NFL history to pass for 300 yards in each of his first two career starts.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver-punt returner Desean Jackson had a 64-yard touchdown reception in the Eagles’ 34-14 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Jackson has now scored a touchdown of at least 60 yards in all three games and is the first player in NFL history with a 60+ yard TD in each of his team’s first three games of a season.

Congrats to both.

Nice to finally see how good Kolb is

Action Jackson and Shady McCoy will be stars in the NFL methinks

Vick and Garcia around as spare back-ups in case Kolb gets hurt – its an embarassment of riches

Vick in NON EXISTANT in the game meanwhile Kolb goes out with the youngsters, blows the doors off and only warrants a “oh” BTW nice record setting game kid…….

Silly sports writers Vick is for kids……….and fanboys

Sort of akin to Favre being such a hero yesterday

when it was really a great catch by Greg Lewis that won their game.

I’m eating my crow with a huge fucking smile. I wasn’t thrilled about Jackson during the draft but I love this kid.

I could see Desean with those kind of numbers but not celek. Celek is playing good but will more likely have 6-8 TDs and I wouldnt be surprised to see him get close to 1000 yards.

It was a great game, and not trying to be a hater on them but I think we must remember it was the Chiefs. I have a new found respect for the young guys but we will hopefully have to wait and see how they do when they have some better competition. Jackson is the real deal but that flip looked like a broken wrist waiting to happen. Awesome game though nonetheless. GO EAGLES
