Breaking: McNabb, Westbrook, & Curtis inactive for today's game

The Eagles have announced that Donovan McNabb, Brian Westbrook, & Kevin Curtis will all be inactive for today's game against the Chiefs. McNabb and Curtis were expected, but most reports suggested that Brian Westbrook would be able to  play. I have to wonder whether the wet conditions played a factor in Andy Reid's decision to shut Westbrook and his sore ankle down?

The absences of Curtis and Westbrook mean that rookies Jeremy Maclin and Lesean McCoy, the Eagles first and second round picks respectively, will get their first career starts.

just makes me more excited to see Macho, Maclin, and McCoy all getting starts, it’s going to be epic.

I don’t really like the fact that Garcia is activated and when McNabb comes back I probably won’t like it if Kolb is since I don’t think we need to activate three QBs

Ladies and gentlemen,

Your 2010/2011 starting offense: Kevin Kolb, LeSean McCoy, Jeremy Maclin, and DeSean Jackson.

Although Dewayne Bowe out for the Chiefs. So that means Chiefs’ offense is Matt Cassel and 2.9 YPC Larry Johnson.

(And when did Bowe get injured?)

RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.

Dwayne Bowe is out?

wow…I feel bad for the Chiefs. They now have ZERO chance. I’m expecting 3 points or less for them.

Felix is better than Brian. You can call me FIBTB.

i think its a good decision by AR, cause you don´t wanna risk an injury to your best players in week 3!

i agree with this. with a bye week coming up no sense in risking the chance at making any of those 3 guys worse when all 3 could likely come back 100% in 2 weeks

atleast westy and mcnabb are 100% i do know nothing about curtis´ injury! something with hiss knee, but when did he hurt it?

Looking at the inactives...

I guess I can understand why we have Garcia active since only two that are on there are healthy but I would still probably have Babin or McGlynn active over Garcia.

Here are the inactives if you want to know: McNabb, Westbrook, Curtis, Herremans, McGlynn, Demps, Patterson, Babin

DIMITRA Patterson. Not Mike Patterson. Might want to say that before you give someone a heart attack about us also losing one of our DT for the game. lol

RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.

Every time I read Patterson, I jump a little bit

And then I realize it’s not the Patterson. It is frightening, though.

It’s DIMITRI. Show the man some respect. At least spell his name right if you’re gonna cap it.

McCoy is stating for me in FF

I didn’t get Westbrook, but I grabbed McCoy knowing he’d get a couple starts. Lets see if my late pick works!

Same with me, over Addai.

The Colts don’t seem to want to run the ball. I just hope Andy will.
