The Linc - McNabb updates condition

McNabb updates condition | Philadelphia Inquirer | 09/21/2009
"I wish I had an answer, but I don't," he said. "I feel pretty good, better than last Monday. It's one day at a time. I think there is a process that is going on, and the progression makes you feel confident that things are going to be better. Hopefully, it will be quicker than later. I'm looking forward to being back out on the field."

Andy Reid loves to tinker. He enjoys working with old cars, taking them apart and putting them back together. He does the same thing with his football team, which is why he loves the Wildcat offense. It’s the ultimate tinker toy.

Now, I'm not a horror movie fan, so perhaps I'm missing something, but I didn't really get the mask that Sheldon wore coming out of the tunnel. What's the story behind Jason Vorhees? Are we missing some deep meaning?

there’s no way he’ll play any time soon with an injury like that. the other day reid was talking about waiting for his rib to get sticky so that muscle starts to build around it when its back in place. one sack and it’s gonna be unstuck and possible puncture a lung! my two cents is, not until week 6 will we see mcnabb again.

I say after the bye… that gives him a whole 4 weeks to heal. He’ll be back against the Bucc’ s. I personally would like him starting at least for the division games which would be week 7 vs. the Skins… but I doubt it will take that long.

After the bye for sure

The Eagles are just playing games with the Chiefs at this point – they want them to have to prepare for the possibility that McNabb could play. There’s no need to risk the season on a game the Eagles should be capable of easily winning even with Kevin Kolb at QB. Give Donny unitl after the bye, he’ll be fully healed and ready to rock the Bucs.

I refuse to except the Chiefs as an easy win. There are no easy wins in the NFL… we lost to some teams last year we shouldn’t have.. oh yeah.. and tied one!

You may not believe in easy games...

But there is a such thing as a bad team. The Chiefs might not be terrible, but they are rebuilding, and the Eagles are a legitimate playoff team…so I don’t think you’ll have a problem handling them with or without McNabb. I gotta admit, as a Giants fan I’m very interested to see how they utilize Vick in his first game.

Here’s to hoping McNabb gets healthy during his time off.

I'm not about JINXING my team

Last year alone:

Rams beat the Redskins and the Cowboys (two teams we lost to last year) and they were considered a horrible team.
The Bengals tied us and beat the Skins.
I could keep going… But there are some games that non-playoff teams beat play-off teams and those are just a few examples….
