Lito Bit of a Reunion
I had an odd thought not long ago. As pretty much everyone knows... We get to watch a game with Lito on the other side of the ball tomorrow... as his new team welcomes us for the game which has done more to hackney the term "vanilla" than thing any Baskin Robbins or Jen & Berry's could ever think of. But can this game mean more to us Eagle Fans than the last chance to see Vick play for a month? Here's my random thought
Lito Sheppard... I'm sure many of you that watch will no doubt use whatever playing time he is given to pick on him much like the Giants did last week. But a few will watch remember that his performance this season is directly related to our draft pick compensation next year... After last week, he needs all the help he can get to do good enough to give us an early draft selection. And if you think about it, there is little loss nor risk to the Eagles giving Lito a little confidence booster... to take into the begining of the real season.
I have to wonder, is there anyone else thinking about the possibility of the Eagles either (A) Attempt throw heavily to the opposite side of the field... find show flaws in the other Jets backs.. or (B) Toss a gimmie (oops Kolb overthrows or Maclin slips on a route) in Lito's direction? I will say that I firmly believe the Eagles and Jets both will treat this completely exhibition of 2nd stringers game with a degree of seriousness. But this is also the only time we could help ourselves, with out any major risk (to the season record).

BTW
I don’t even know if he plays… so this could just be a pointless and slightly interesting thought.

It didn’t take me that many question marks to figure it out the first time I heard it.

1 Series...
Jets starters are looking @ at least 1 series… and probably only 1. So he’ll play, a very little.
