Just watched "sounds of the game" on NFL network and here is what I saw: Steve was sitting at the bench when Delhomme approached to apologize for an underthrown ball that was intercepted by Asante. Steve replied something like "the performer...the performer, the quarterback... I never like you as a quarterback, but I always liked you as a person."

So he never liked delhomme as a quartback? How does Delhomme have confidence throwing to Smith from now on, knowing Smith doesn't like him as a quarterback?
