For those of you still concerned about Winston Justice being the starting RT for the 2009 season, take a look at #74 gettin' it done.

Nice
Hopefully next week, you’ll be able to post a highlight reel containing plays like this for # 4 !
Looking Mean in Kelly Green

Pshhh
One highlight shouldn’t get any of us excited. Forgive but DON"T FORGET the Giants game. This guy did well one game and with one highlight.
I WANT and WILL him to do well but i won’t forget the Giants game until Winston PROVES me wrong with MANY great games under his belt!!!!

so....
everyone can crucify him after one bad start but they can’t praise him after having one pretty good start is that what you’re saying.
I don’t think we can really judge him at all until he gets a year under his belt….good, bad or otherwise.

Nice play but this isn’t all that highlight worthy for Winston Justice, unless I’m missing something. Good job keeping Charles Johnson at bay. Weaver and Jackson had nice blocks there too.

He sealed the edge and beat his man. That’s his job.

And destroyed Chris Gamble in the process of playing to the whistle…

Leonard Weaver too? He shut the LB down.

the WRs
got downfield as well. which is nice. both kevin and jackson being smaller guys it is good to see them blocking for westy. Though i think kevin could have tried to pancake him.

celek
totally whiffed and got knocked aside…horrible angle made it so he couldnt get any leverage. Celek is still iffy blocking

Wow, I didn’t see Celek at first. That was embarrassing.

he looked okay at best during pass protection as well. he just needs to spend more time with juan. he should be fine down the road.

He went to the Jon Runyan School of Blocking.

He had a nice play, good for him. Hopefully he can learn from this and continue to build upon these types of plays.
Hasn’t anyone ever heard the saying, “Even a blind squarl finds a nut sometimes.”? I’m sure you have, it is fairly common. I just wanted to say that!!! It is always funny(in my mind), everytime I hear it.
