Does anyone rember how tough McNabb is? A broken ankle didn't stop this guy, do you think a cracked rib will?

That was a little different...
McNabb broke his ankle during that game (and nobody knew it was broken). There’s no way he plays if they knew the injury was that serious. I once broke my ankle on Dec. 23 and then walked around the mall Christmas shopping for 4 hours. It definitely hurt, but the real pain didn’t come until the following morning. I agree that both McNabb and Bye Dawk are extremely tough (especially Bye Dawk), but the risk here is that the injury could worsen and could set back McNabb in the long-term if he goes out and tries to play too early.
Bye, Big Stew and JJ :(
agree
, but I’ve cracked a few ribs in my day, twice in separate 4 wheeler accidents, and although there was constant pain I was able to go about my normal life. Although my normal life doesn’t include starting QB for the Eagles, my gut tells me that he’ll be playing Sunday against the Saints.
I'm ALMOST
in favor of sitting McNabb just for precautionary reasons. We have enough weapons that Kolb wouldn’t have to carry the game on his shoulders…and we’ll DEFINITELY need McNabb later in the season
