Feely?

THere saying McNabb will be out for 2-4 weeks because of the cracked ribs. In my opinion, Kolb does not have what it takes to lead our offence. Every time he had the ball we were all cringing.

Bottom line- We need Feely back... AJ has lead us in the past, he's a vet with a lot of experience and someone who has the confidence Kolb seems to lack.

I just dont have faith in Kolb, I know he's young but I dont think he has it in him to ever be a starter.

By the way- did anyone else notice how jacked McNabb looked? Dude is in shape...

Mcnabb

is fine. He’ll play next week. I trust in Andy.

Vick

will be playing after they realise in week 2, that our other back-ups wont produce, we all know what vick can do, i hope andy realises that

I think they’ll bring back Feeley, but not to start. Kolb will start, Feeley will probably back him up.

I guess they could activate McNabb as the backup… but if he’s too injured to start than he’s probably too injured to back up.

really cause Kolb looks awful

Feely was always a trusted back up for us. I was under the impretion the only reason he was our number 3 was because the birds wanted to get Kolb as many snaps as possable so he could one day be seasoned enough to start- not because he was better…

RIP JJ

again i think it was his age that made the decsion

your not going to keep 4 qb’s. your not going to cut your up and comer 2nd rd pick, and they just signed Vick- AJ was the odd man out, not because his ability but because of the situatin. I take Feely over Kolb in this one.

RIP JJ

Ok fine

But Andy still made his pick. Whatever the reason, he made it. There’s no way he goes from not seeing AJ as worthy of a roster spot one week and as a starter the next. THere’s no chance AJ starts.

Agree with JasonB 100%.

And before people get going Vick will not start a single game for us this season at QB. Stop it.

kolb not the guy

i completely agree.there was aplay in the 4th where d.jack was wide open ,i think he ran a post,it looked like kolb checked him off then through an incomplete pass.to me it looked like after his two pics and a fumble that he had no confidence.u gotta have a short memory to be a qb in this league.could it be hes still too young.they say 5 years for a rookie to develope.i just think the kid sucks

Feeley*

y would we need another kicker?

on a separate note, I think Kolb looked good, however I would like a more experienced qb in the game, one with experience in the birds system & knows how to win, no, not u AJ Feeley, yep that’s right, I want to seeJeff Garcia… y not?

kolb looked good???????????

WHAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT .Kevin Kolb right.#4right.You B crazy boy!!!!!!!!!!

by frankie da mook on Sep 13, 2009 5:39 PM EDT up reply actions

compared to last year

Kolb played better & looked good, & he played better than all Car. Qb’s, check his stats, he didn’t play bad, did u even watch him play today? or did u stop paying attention when McNabb went down & not even give Kolb the time of day? or probably one of the bandwagon fans that booed McNabb last year & wanted him out, & now ur hoping he’ll come back. Kolb has not shown me he is a great qb, but he played well after Mcnabb went down, he didn’t throw any pics, all he did was fumble once; when he had no blocking. so y am i crazy? i’d be crazy if I said we should get delhomme

AJ Feeley will be signed tomorrow.

I would be shocked if he isnt in an Eagles uniform by Tuesday. No way the eagles go into next weeks game with one QB who can play.
I have no confidence in Kevin Kolb OR Michael Vick to run this offense. Maybe 6 weeks from now Vick will be ready but right now he isnt.

Yeah I think he’ll be brought in as well. They need a backup.

i’m just saying… he played extremely well last time he played in philly

They talked about Garcia on postgame. I think Kolb’ll start, and they’d rather sign the guy they just cut 2 weeks ago over the guy who wasn’t in camp with them.

You don’t DeSean Jackson 1 snap away from being the QB.

I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.

Save the drama for your mama

Garcia’s a drama queen and thinks he should be starting on any given week.

The last thing I want is the ‘QB drama’ that would arise from having him, McNabb and Vick in the same locker room.

by andyreidswaistline on Sep 13, 2009 10:52 PM EDT up reply actions

McNabb will be fine

its like a 3-week injury at most, I read that its only a crack, its not as bad as actually breaking your rib completely..

He can play with it but it will of coarse hurt a bit.. I have confidence in Kolb though.

by wild_eagle on Sep 13, 2009 6:29 PM EDT reply actions

Not I

in 3 weeks a lot of damage can be done- Feely or Garcia is worth the investment

RIP JJ

They can beat the Chiefs with Kolb if it comes to that, but next week will be tougher.

Still, they should be able to get into the bye 2-1 and then 5 comes back.

I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.

gotta go Feely, he knows it and ran it just a few weeks back. He’s been solid and knows we aren’t asking him to win the game, just not lose it. He has a knack for it. Give Kevin a shot though, he’s never been in a game with a full week of work with the first team. I’ve got faith in him but am also sure he’s gonna make some mistakes.

SIMPLE QUESTION-

It comes down to a simple question: Is Reggie Brown more valuable to team as an inactive 7th receiver or AJ as experienced QB for next 2 weeks?-To anyone watching over last 2 years AJ>>RB.

by Dr B on Sep 13, 2009 7:34 PM EDT reply actions

I totally agree

I say the Eagles trade the Pats(they always want our sloppy seconds) Brown for a 4 or5 round pick and sign Feeley.

by Cowboy KILLER on Sep 13, 2009 7:45 PM EDT up reply actions

They’re defintely going to get another QB in here. I’m sure AJ will be signed tomorrow.

by JasonB on Sep 13, 2009 11:15 PM EDT up reply actions

Can people please get his name right

it’s FEELEY NOT FEELY

His name is spelled wrong

No, I don’t want him on our team. I think he might get picked up and sit behind Kolb though.
