Upside, 2-1 going into the bye was pretty likely anyway, then they have the Bucs and Raiders.

Of course, as bad as Kolb looks, these games are a lot more in doubt.

by Tracer Bullet on Sep 13, 2009 4:22 PM EDT up reply actions

Which is more impressive guys?

that we held Smith to 21 yards on 3 rec
or
that we held them to 86 yrds rushing on a 2.9 average?

RIP Jim Johnson. You will truly be missed.

by SHOaks on Sep 13, 2009 4:23 PM EDT reply actions

McNabb out 2-4 weeks is the rumor on Postgame Live.

Cracked ribs.

Fuck the Panthers.

I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.

by BrianS on Sep 13, 2009 4:24 PM EDT reply actions

What is up with them, late hits, and cracked ribs for McNabb? Can’t believe they didn’t call a penalty on him.

44 points from Philadelphia D on fantasy

And we were all worried…

RIP Jim Johnson. You will truly be missed.

by Igglesfan13 on Sep 13, 2009 4:24 PM EDT reply actions

What we learned

1) Kevin Kolb blows (any intelligent person knew this way before the game)
2) The Eagles defense is fired up
3) We need McNabb to stay healthy. Because Andy Reid has some ridiculous man-crush on a fucking terrible second-string QB and won’t get a decent backup like Garcia off the waiver wire.

by cwel87 on Sep 13, 2009 4:30 PM EDT reply actions

If we beat the saints at home next week, and i think we will, we have a great chance of starting at least 5-0

by eaglesinmd on Sep 13, 2009 4:39 PM EDT reply actions

we’d have to rely on the defense heavily.

no matter how much i pray that kolb will develop into a better passer, it’s just not panning out the way we all want it to. as of this moment, i think we cut the wrong backup qb…
