Winston Justice has a chance to win the starting RT job
Reid did stress that Justice, a preseason standout, could win Andrews' job if he plays well Sunday and, ostensibly, beyond. Justice started and practiced in Andrews' place all through training camp.
"I thought one of the real positives coming out of camp was Winston Justice and how he played. I thought it was valuable, valuable experience that he got in there. I just look forward to seeing him out there competing," Reid said.
So, it's a competition? Justice isn't just holding a spot for Andrews?
"Absolutely," Reid said.
That's news to Justice - good news, and rare good news, considering Justice's main claim to fame as an Eagle. Starting in place of injured left tackle Tra Thomas in September 2007, Justice gave up several of the 12 sacks the Eagles surrendered to the Giants two seasons ago.
"I'm not worried about redemption. I'm worried about being a great offensive tackle against the Panthers," Justice said. "If redemption comes with it, fine."
Wow, I have been one of the few to not place all the blame on Justice for that Giants game and don't hate him for it and still think he has a future but this surprises me because of what he has done for Shawn, I guess he doesn't want to depend on his back anymore.

You need everything you can get
Gmen = 0 sacks last year. So much for the best Dline in football :)
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
not convinced
If you watched the preseason games, AR constantly kept a tight end to justice’s right to help block or the RB would cip the player Justice was blocking on every pass play. did anybody else notice that? I dont know how AR showed zero confidence in Justice to protect donovan in the preseason and now be so confident.
Any thoughts?
If were AR...
I would have used a TE or RB to help him block too. This is a guy who will be constantly reminded about what happened three seasons ago for maybe the rest of his career, and honestly AR really messed up that game. AR hopefully now understands that Justice has the physical tools of a first round pick, he just needs to get his head right and he could be an above average lineman.
