It's time once again for fantasy football, BGN style. Which of course means all of you embarrassing me once again. To be fair I didn't come in last in our league last year, I was second to last. Yeah...
The league is called Bleeding Green Nation 2009 and is hosted on Flea Flicker. You'll need a password to join which is "McNabb5."
It's a big league, 4 divisions and 20 teams. So it should be very competitive. Last year it filled up in minutes, so I wouldn't wait to get in. If the demand is overwhelming, we may do some overflow leagues. Stay tuned for those.
Last year saw JGCarraway defeat Whodie126 in the finals... who dares to challenge them this year?

Reid League
I’m in… hopefully I’ll beat Jason.. but I do tend to get lost when I have more than 3 FF Teams running, gotta pay more attention to those pay leagues, but I’m in it for fun.
Is fleaflicker a decent site? I’m new to it.
How many leagues does BGN have?
I signed up for a yahoo BGN league like 2 months ago and i’ve seen several posts since them starting up FF leagues.
haha my team wasn’t even good I just barely won every week it was pretty amazing. Michael Turner and Anquan Boldin helped.

20 people is going to be way too many. I did a 14 man mock draft earlier just to see what it would be KINDA like and THAT player pool was way thin.

I’ve done 24 and 30 teams before. You just gotta adjust your thinking … Maybe look for points in places you normally wouldn’t or appreciate contributions you’d otherwise overlook

I’m not saying it can’t be done, I’m just saying it’s going to come down to 1) someone getting ridiculously lucky on some off the wall rookie contributor and/or 2) someone hawking the waiver wire when someone gets injured and some joe schmoe comes in and awesomes up the place.

Damn. I’m a little upset I didn’t get to join the “official” league. I’m in the one on espn so I guess that will suffice. I’m still looking forward to posting Fantasy posts/advice every week.

Flea Flicker
Any of you guys who used it before, is it better than using ESPN/yahoo etc, I play in a league with some friends, and we wouldn’t mind to be able to customize our league a little more, but we don’t wanna shell out money for it.
