Second-year cornerback Jack Ikegwuonu picked off a McNabb pass and returned it for a touchdown this morning.
Perhaps even more entertaining were the comments from his teammates afterward because Ikegwuonu showed little emotion after his pick six.
"Show me some high step or something," teammate Quintin Mikell said.
"There's no flash to him," Gaither said. "It's not his fault. He's from Wisconsin."

Before you prepare your I was the only one rant, remember a good deal of people liked Jack the whole time, just not as much as Asante.
o bs
not that many ppl liked him .. a lot of people said he was going to get cut .. they did 53 man rosters and said he was on the bubble .. it was less than 10 percent who liked him

Stop it, dude...
He’s an Eagle. We like him. We just enjoyed making fun of you for suggesting he was in the same league as Asante Samuel, one of the best corners in the entire NFL.
That said, I was certainly one of the people that had him on the bubble… and why shouldn’t I have had him on the bubble? This team in LOADED in the secondary. Samuel, Brown, Hobbs, Hanson, Harris, Demps, Jones, Mikell, etc. My sentiment was that he wasn’t a lock and would have to earn his way onto the team, and it looks like that’s what he’s doing. Good for him. Good for us.
Bye, Big Stew and JJ :(
It's funny reading about guys making great plays in camp...
Because on the one hand you’re thinking, “Nice! Ike picked off McNabb and took it to the house.”
But you realize, “Wait, McNabb just gave up a TD on a pick.”
It’s like in Madden during training camp when you run the drills to get your players better ratings, especially the “chase and tackle” drill… It’s kind of weird just teeing off on Brian Westbrook.

Jack
I live in Madison Wisconsin and I witnessed Jack play a lot in college first hand. He is a big physical CB that don’t really flash much. He has always really been the guy that goes to work and then back home at night.
Personally I’d like to see a little bit high stepping or something, but as long as he takes it to the house when it counts I don’t care if he does anything at all!!
I love that he isn't flashy.
In my opinion there is nothing more intimidating than an athlete who shows little emotion after a big play. Sort of a “of course I made big play and…?” mentality. Save the celebration for the really big ones or for your teammates big plays. Tiger Woods is like that usually. Jordan was like that in his later career. Michael Phelps is often like that. They know they are going to dominate and their juxtaposed reaction makes big plays seem that much bigger.
barry sanders
was never a flasher when he scored
cause he showed his moves while trying to score a td
