Eagles bars near Deep Creek Maryland?

I realize this is off topic but life will be taking me out of town for the opening game against Carolina. Not sure what I did to deserve this. There is a long list of possible reasons. Anyways, I'll be in the Deep Creek area of Maryland and was hoping by some miracle someone knows a great place to catch the game. Hell, it doesnt matter what kind of place it is. From what I hear there are a lot of Steelers bars in the area. Thanks for any help...

Good luck, the Black Bear Tavern right next to Wisp has some TV’s, I recommend going to Oakland though.

EVERYONE there is a Steelers fan.

I was just there for the first time for a week of vacation a couple weeks ago and the feeling I got was that it is certainly a Steelers-dominated area as well as West Virginia football. I didn’t come across any Eagles bars, but you might be able to find a bar or restaurant that has NFL Ticket.

Sorry to hear about the timing of your trip, but I must say it is a beautiful area. I definitely wish I could go back… just not after the first week in September… haha.

Sorry I couldn’t help. Good luck.

Oh nice

Yeah the lake is great… perfect place for boating, fishing, etc. You’ll enjoy it.

As far as finding a bar with NFL Ticket, your best bet will be to call up one of the info centers or something and just ask around. You might have to look up bars in the area and just call each one and ask. I know how I feel about missing an Eagle’s game… so I’d do whatever it takes to find a place to watch the game. haha.

Heres just one link that you can look around on and see if you can find any information or any phone numbers to call.

Thanks

I really appreciate it. I dont miss any Eagles games. Especially the season opener. And its Carolina. I went to college down at UNCW and a lot of my friends are big Panther fans. I will be watching this game somewhere, somehow.

Check the place that you are staying as well. Sometimes they have direct TV….maybe you’ll luck out.
