I'm ready for the criticism. I know this post will likely receive a ton of negative feedback bashing me for including something that basically links ot my blog, but I thought that some would be interested in participating in this "Fan Challenge":
The Final 53

As we progress further into the preseason and the regular season approaches, a daunting task comes upon the Eagles' front office. The roster must be wisely cut down to a final 53 players by Week 1 of the season, and there will certainly be some tough choices.
Do you believe you can step into the shoes of the organization and make the right decisions? Then be sure to take part in this challenge, and tell us what you will do with the team! Please include your revised, final roster, as well as a list of the changes that you made (releases, trades, etc.).
Tell us how you would manage the roster and cut it down to the "final 53"!

Nah, just kidding.
Cool idea. Unfortunately, i can’t interest myself enough to get all 53. Plus chances are, I get all the fence players all wrong, or jinx them.

What would be really cool
is if you designed a form with check boxes and all 79/75 players still on the roster, and then we could go through and guess the 53 without doing a whole bunch of typing or explaining.
That way you’d get a larger mass of opinions and probably a handful who nail the final 53 perfectly (although most of us would probably hit around 49 or 50)
Obviously easier said than done. And if you want fewer opinions and more explanation, then you’re on the right track.

this got a lot tougher
with the signing of Vick. Do the Eagles keep 4 QBs because Vick could be out until week 7?
