Eagles Preseason Cuts Begin with OT Patrick

Stay connected for news and updates

According to the Philadelphia Eagles website, the Eagles have just released offensive tackle Chris Patrick:

The Eagles have released offensive tackle Chris Patrick. The roster now stands at 79 players. The Eagles have until Tuesday at 4 PM (EST) to get to the league-mandated roster limit of 75.

Patrick made the final roster for the playoffs last year after spending the majority of the season on Philadelphia's practice squad. During the 2009 preseason, he served as the third-string left tackle behind Jason Peters and King Dunlap. This move leaves the Eagles with four offensive tackles: Peters, Dunlap, Shawn Andrews, and Winston Justice.

Four more players need to be released this week. Who do you think will be the next Eagle to be let go?
