"I think I’m ready," May said. "As long as I keep taking reps, keep getting coached up and keep doing the little things, I’ll be ready. I think the [biggest challenge] will be mental. There are going to be a lot of things thrown at me being the No. 1 middle linebacker, but I’m looking forward to it.
"This is something I’ve been looking forward to. I sat out last year, and now I’m eager and hungry to play."

Who steps up and gets the green dot on the helmet now?
Mikell? May? Gaither? Jordan? Gocong? Brown?

Gaither had already done it, so if he wins the job he’ll be the guy.

Joe Mays:
If you get this spot – I’m gonna cheer for you until my lungs get raw. We’re counting on a deep season this year!
Looking Mean in Kelly Green
I've been really excited..
about Mays since the day we drafted him. I watched his college highlights (as I do every draft pick) and I LOVE how tenacious this guy is. He gets after it on every play, and he has heart. I really hope he gets the starting MLB job this year cause I can’t wait to see this guy put fear in in every runningback he faces, and see him lay the wood.
Gonna miss Dawk a WHOLE lot next year..
