now that ive seen kolb "wonderfull’’ performance he shouldbe without a doubt under vick on the depth chart at number 3

Nice kick too. Things are really coming together in the 4th, when there scrubs are in. lol

by Serk on Aug 27, 2009 10:09 PM EDT reply actions

i’d rather have us win against the scrubs than have to deal with everything i’ll have to take tomorrow…

I missed vick

how did vick do i oly tued in t the end of the 2nd, did he lok good?

by rainvillefromottawa on Aug 27, 2009 10:10 PM EDT reply actions

He looked ok – his arm has plenty of zip – decision making and football legs will come back with time.

by andyreidswaistline on Aug 27, 2009 10:13 PM EDT up reply actions

kolb kinda reminds me of brett farve

without the greatness

good analogy...

I’ll give kolb the fact that he has a good arm, but he has no concept of defenses and shit.

by bula412 on Aug 27, 2009 10:11 PM EDT reply actions

we can probably expect a lot of vick in the next game as a normal QB…. it’ll be the only live game he’ll see for 2-6 weeks after

by Smallbugger on Aug 27, 2009 10:13 PM EDT reply actions

I say he gets three or four drives max.

by andyreidswaistline on Aug 27, 2009 10:15 PM EDT up reply actions

He’ll get at least a quarter don’t you think? Kolb will get a half at least if not more… Depends on what they want to do with AJ. I would think you bench AJ, give Kolb a half or so and give Vick the rest of the game.

by JasonB on Aug 27, 2009 10:17 PM EDT up reply actions

Kolb gets the most time. Reid should give him one drive with the starting supporting cast to see if he’s got anything. With regards to Vick, I’m not buying that he’s into the playbook enough yet to get a whole quarter. We’ll see though. Not saying I’d be against it.

by andyreidswaistline on Aug 27, 2009 10:20 PM EDT up reply actions

No he is not. At least McCoy looks to have potential.

by captain nodar on Aug 27, 2009 10:16 PM EDT up reply actions

I will still take him over booker

by bula412 on Aug 27, 2009 10:17 PM EDT up reply actions

Why did we get rid of Tony Hunt?

I thought he was good. Anyways, we should seriously look at Duckett with our short yardage problems.

by eaglemaniac814 on Aug 27, 2009 10:18 PM EDT up reply actions

This is the Eagles. There are plenty of accomplished vet backs out there who would be a better backup than what we have. What surprises me is in the past, Reid opted for the seasoned vet (can you say Levens?)

by captain nodar on Aug 27, 2009 10:20 PM EDT up reply actions

Duckett

does signing TJ sound any better now,YES

I don’t know if Duckett is the guy… but someone. Dunn?

by JasonB on Aug 27, 2009 10:19 PM EDT up reply actions

nah

dunn doesn’t deserve to be a number 3. i’d rather see him retire or be a number 2 elsewhere just out of respect for the guy.

RBs

Pats are going to have to cut Maroney or Benjarvus-Green Ellis
Bengals are going to cut DeDe Dorsey or Brian Leonard

Do they bring more to the table than a Dunn or Duckett? Possibly…
