Philadelphia Eagles to pass on TE Curtis
Last week the news broke that the Eagles had invited former Cowboy and Chiefs TE Tony Curtis in for a workout. However, it seems that Curtis didn't impress. From Les Bowen,
There was a report over the weekend that the Eagles had worked out former Dallas tight end Tony Curtis (Jack Lemmon being dead and all). A source close to the situation said the team won't be signing Curtis.
At the very least, it is somewhat telling to know that they're at least looking at TEs.

I hear Rob Myers is turning heads. I’m thinking he’s the front runner to earn the #3 spot by the time regular season rolls around. If there is a #3 spot at all…
Meh
One good showing makes all us Eagles fans slobber over any player.
Jury is still out on this one.
Half the eagles fans want DiMichelle right now over Kolb and Feeley, that alone should tell you something.

While I like this news
Because Tony was never a good idea in my opinion. The problem is that I think they are starting to settle in on Myers on the solution and while I admit he did have a plausible performance last game, I still don’t see him as being the answer for another tight end. I could be wrong, but I just don’t know if he is answer. Andy loves to train his own players instead of bringing in vets so I know he’s going to keep saying about how good Myers is coming along, but I call it like I see it.
Tight Ends
i like the idea of having Brent Celek, Cornelious Ingram, and Rob Myers next year. Could be an explosive group. hope the eagles keep rob.
A question: Did the eagles put Ingram on the DL list yet?
eff you we winning anyway
