Michael Vick's jersey the top seller on NFLshop.com
I guess the guy still has fans.
Vick's replica Eagles jersey, which retails for $79.99, was the top seller on NFLShop.com as of Wednesday. Jersey maker Reebok did not return calls for comment.
This made me think of a recent interview I heard on the Jody Mac show on 950 ESPN. He had John Kincade, a philly guy and current sports radio host in Atlanta, on to discuss what he thought of the Vick signing from an Atlanta perspective. Kincade said that in the area, Vick still has a lot of supporters.
Has anyone here actually bought a Vick jersey?

I bet most of the people buying them aren’t Eagles fans. A lot of my buddies (also Eagles fans) have his old Atlanta jersey, just cuz they like him as a player. Wouldn’t surprise me if people were just doing the same thing all over again.
About 10 minutes ago, I was pondering my own existence. Then I decided that it didn't matter.
Not that there is anything wrong with it
But I voted no just because I don’t buy football jerseys. If I were to buy one it would not be Vick simply cause I don’t think I’d sink $80 for the back-ups jersey. Were people buying Kevin Kolb ones 2 weeks ago? Survey says…NO
I said No, but if there was a column that said, No, but I’m not against it I would have marked that one.

For the wall
As an Eagles fan rooming a college with four ATLiens, we’ve discussed getting Vick jersey to put up on the wall next to his falcons uni. BUY! BUY! BUY!
I said no.
But there should be two “no” answers. One for those strongly against it (as it’s worded now) and one for those of us that don’t particularly care. There are plenty Eagles players I’d want a jersey of first.
I voted no also
but only because D-Mac blew out his ACL the day after I bought his jersey (which I then gave to a homeless guy-why yes, I am superstitious), I vowed never to by an active Eagles player’s jersey again.
I bleed green and I piss silver and blue
doing well
The sale of Vick jerseys will offset his salary. Michael Vick doesn’t benefit from the jersey sales, the NFL does. Don’t think the League has forgotten that the Vick jersey was the top selling jersey of all times prior to Vick’s conviction.
If the Vick signing pans out for the Eagles you would have to wonder if the Eagles refusal to extend McNabb’s contract was a brilliant move. The Eagles would have signed a premire talented at quaterback at clerance sale pricing..
The bottom line is all that matters, Some Eagle Fans will not see the forrest because of the trees. Release yourself from your emotions it’s a sound business move with large upside, thus far it’s a benefit to the League Office.
It’s a sound decision with possible implications of improving the League’s social responsibility staturs in relations to Providing Second Chances to convicted felons in America, to bring Vick to Philly. Foremost, the move will have immediate impact on their balance sheet.
I'm not against the Vick jersey or anyone who wears one but...
I’m a bit surprised that the NFL has been so quick to sell them on their website considering he is not fully re-instated. Kind of gives the wrong impression.

WHAT?
Are u implying that the NFL and the Eagles have other motives than to give that remorseful, misunderstood, fine human being individual, one Micheal Vick, a 2nd chance? Shocking.

I'd consider an Eagles #7 "Mexico" Jersey, but the NFL shop doesn't allow them anymore.
It's shocking what you can miss sometimes. The amazing color changing card trick.
I was on the PE.com chat during his PC
and everyone was asking about where they could buy it. PE.com had it for sale that morning it was pretty impressive.
