Around SBN: Jeremy Lin And How The Pac-12 Missed Him

This is to the biggest douche bag in the world...

As you all have most likely heard Brett Favre has signed with the Vikings. I would like to say that he is by far the biggest douche bag ever...

Sure he's a record setting QB, most likely one of the best to ever play the game. That doesn't make up for his childish antics. Leading the Packers on offseason after offseason was ok for a few years. Coming out of retirement was OK once. Coming back after missing training camp last year and going to the Jets was yet another d*ck move on his part.

Then there was the Minnesota "flirtation" that went on thoughout the entire offseason. This leads me to the thing that pisses me off the most. He decided to stay retired on the day JJ died and this completely overshadowed anything to do with JJ. Now I understand people find that as "more exciting" news and at the time I wasn't horribly upset because I know how the media works but now him coming back 3 weeks later makes the overshadowing of JJ a slap in the face.. Hince Favre is now a douche bag in my book, something even JIBTA hasn't even come close to reaching with me yet..

But hey there is some good here, next to the Giants the Vikings were the team I was most scared of. They have a killer running game, a great defense and Favre won't have to "do it all" like he feels like he has to. But with the signing of him by week 10 his arm will be "tired" but he will refuse to miss games, his performance will drop significantly and he will ruin yet another teams hopes just to try to get even with the Packers.

On a side note if I were the Viking's coach I would rather play Jackson. If you get him one of the best QB coaches in the league and develope that raw talent he could be special. He has a pretty good arm, and can run when needed, he would add another dimention to that team. But after all this I hope he gets out, I always though he could be a good QB if they would play him for more than 5 games a season.

Oh and EFF 'EM WERE WINNING IT ANYWAY!!!

GO EAGLES!!!

How is it that I’ve started to agree with you more and more lately?

About 10 minutes ago, I was pondering my own existence. Then I decided that it didn't matter.

Um, so a guy that has played Football his whole life and wants to continue to play is a Douche Bag? Maybe when you get a little older and have a job that you love and it’s your passion and you don’t want to retire because it’s all you know you will understand. He wants to keep doing what he loves, and that makes him a douche bag? Nope. You have a perception problem buddy. What if you loved to go to Eagles games your whole life, then people started telling you you are too old???? Would you give a flying F what other people said? Hell No. Would you keep going? Yup. Would you be a douche bag because of it? Nope. Now add $12 million dollars to go to the game. Duh.

He is the one that keeps saying he is done.

He needs to make up his mind and not jerk teams, players and fans around. Plus, he is conveniently getting out of OTAs and training camps, which happen to be important parts of the job. You can’t say he doesn’t want to retire because he was flirting with it for three years straight, finally did it, then undid it, then did it again, then undid it again. Is he a douchebag for wanting to play football again? Of course not. But he is a douchebag for the way he is going about it.

who cares?

what happens when he retires next year and comes back? and the year after that? and what about after that? before you know it, he’ll be playing for the mexico city lions 458 years from now. that’s 457 more retirements.

No im more calling him a douche bag

because of the whole over ruling JJ’s death and now that he is back it basically makes all that worth nothing.

Farve lost major cool points this time...

I would never forrgive McNabb if he pulled a “Im gonna retire” then afterwards change his mind after we start Kolb, refuse to leave until we trade him to only end up signing with an NFC East team. And thats from a city who wanted McNabbs head a few times (not myself). He was Greenbay’s Son!
I believe the Eagles have the best fans hands down. To hell with front runningSteeler Nation and Americas Team in Dallas- we’re the best however I have always respected GreenBay for the way they conduct themselves as a buisness and their fan loyalty. Those guys dont deserve this…
Sure he wants to play and he has taken the spotlight a few times this off season once again- all of that I can forgive but Signing with the team that was your rival for what was it 13 yrs? Towalk into Lamboe this season in Purple… thats lame man

RIP JJ

16 years...

he was in GB for 16 years… And I totally missed the point that he signed with his rival for 16 years.
