Shouldnt he be receiving the ball?…isn’t that the point, he’s fast and can throw the ball.

But in a traditional wildcat formation, a QB lines up at WR, most likely it will be McNabb

Vick lines up behind center, Maclin or DJax on the weak slot, and the other WR goes to the side were the QB is lined ub, TE is elgible and is lined up where the Tackle should be. you actually would have 2 tackles next to each other in the traditional wild cat formation.

There’s different trick play scenarios and Vick at WR like this is just one.

I like when Andy runs his gadget plays. There’s either a payoff or it might just keep defenses on their toes.

I can see a few trick plays with Vick at WR…. and its fairly safe to have him run a route like a normal WR, but just having him on the field would disrupt normal coverages and maybe open a big play for another WR, ect if the defense shifts to handle him.
