Donovan McNabb on Vick

Donovan as Vick can Vick make it in the locker room? I lobbied to get him here ... everyone deserves a second chance Threat to you? There is no threat for me ... there is no threat for Kolb. Role?
I don't know ... he hasn't played in 2 years ... it's going to take time
Wildcat?
I think people look at the Wildcat as a cop out ... he's a quarterback
I won't have a problem with it
talk to Michael?
he was very excited
On Vick's situation
for all the dog lovers ... I've looked past it and think everyone else should as well
Interesting comments about Donovan playing wide receiver if Vick plays QB. He has no problem giving him snaps if it helps the team. Donovan seemed to get upset a little especially when asked if this was going to be a sideshow. Overall I like Donovan sticking up for his new teamate he showed real leadership tonight. When did everyone find out about this?
Everybody found out somewhere around the second quarter
... Interesting
lot of guys excited about it
no different than bringing TO here ... TO had some baggage ... when he stepped on the field everyone forgot about that baggage

Can you say spread package?

We have three great playmakers, Maclin, BWest and DJax (4 if you include Shady) and a sure handed WR, Avant. Vick will be QB for this. Great playmaker who can thrive in the spread.

elaborate…
why would you say vick would be any better than macnabb?

i think he’s saying that because it would give the quarterback of a spread formation a great chance of scrambling for major yardage if the defense goes with a dime or nickel defense. almost like a college formation with pat white at WVU.

EXACTLY!

Thanks Remis. If I had Vick, that’s the offense I’d be running with him.

If he produces points

Eagles fans will be cheering him on, if he doesn’t we’ll be booing him, same with Myers after his altercation with the police, and all the other mistakes people have made.

If we do cheer him, think this will add to the Philly fan stereotype that we have no soul? I bet some morons somewhere will bring that into the arguement ( this is not the arguement u are looking for)

Different from TO

while TO pissed us off with his premadona nature Vick has crossed a major line
I cant see myself cheering for a guy who has no sympathy for a Dog. I have 2 labs now and have had dogs all my life, I cant get over it…
But still Good for DMcNabb he is playing his part as the leader- he should stick up for Vick but this is going to get Ugly
Press is going to have a field day- Big mistake FO

in MeanGreen5's defense

He is entitled to his opinions and telling him to blog somewhere else is simply intolerant… Now why should he listen to YOUR opinions after that comment?

I have mad respect for the Eagles and McNabb for this.

They are truely “Merciful”. And so should we be.

Any fan coming off as self rightous needs to understand that Vick did not now better. He was a product of a bad upbringing. I’m sure he realizes his mistakes. Granted, they were grave mistakes.

If you live in a glass house, don’t start throwing rocks.

Whodie, I love you for giving this a chance.

Bleed green, or don't bleed at all!
