Todd Pinkston is back
Ok settle down... Todd Pinkston is indeed back with the Eagles in Lehigh but as a coach, not a player. Pinkston is one of several new coaching interns this year.
Todd Pinkston is in camp. Yes, that's right, but don't get your hopes up, fans. The second-round pick from the 2000 draft is here as a coaching intern, at the invitation of wide receivers coach Dave Culley, who knows Pinkston is trying to break into coaching back home in Mississippi.
"Once you've been playing sports and football all your life, it's something you want to hand down to the kids coming up, that look up to you," Pinkston said.
Every year Andy Reid gives former players the chance to get their feet wet as coaches. Former Eagles like Doug Pederson, Mike Zordich, & Brandon Whiting are all also in camp as interns this year.
Remember, Pinkston is here to learn not teach. So it's unlikely we'll see him passing on his inafmous alligator arms to the Eagles corps of young WRs.

To be fair
Pink had a great SB game and losing him was pretty big the next year. Glew was not a great starting WR
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
alligator arms
as much as we love to hate on him, he was a lot better (for a pretty long time in fact) than we give him credit for.
I’ll always remember his catch in the front corner of the endzone in the 4th and 26 game
8 games in 8-0 we goin.
He was what he was...a deep threat (with inconsistent hands) that didn't have the body or stomach for physical contact...
But he did make some plays…just not as many as you’d expect from a 2nd round draft pick…Our perception of him has a lot to do with our expectations of him…

Just a thought mind you
Isn’t having Pinkston teaching/coaching, a little something like having Scott Norwood teaching/coaching others how to kick fieldgoals?

if he couldnt learn how to actualy catch how is he going to learn how to teach someone to do that?
teaching
those who can’t do, teach.
