Whatever the case actually may be, now is certainly the time to appreciate what Reid has done for football in Philadelphia. The Eagles have gone through a long list of coaches who accomplished far less in shorter periods of time than Reid this past decade, and though you may not agree with his offensive philosophy or enjoy his charming personality, things have been running damn fine under his watch. Whenever he does eventually run his course, chances are we’ll all miss the stability.

Comparing 3-4 ILBs to 4-3 MLBs is just silly. The two jobs have entirely different responsibilities and play behind entirely different defensive lines.

True, but you can’t argue that Ray Lewis wouldn’t be just as effective as a 4-3 Mike. He’s a monster in any system.

My point is, there are some players that, no matter what you do with them, will outperform everybody else. IMO, this list does take that into account somewhat. Then again, D’Qwell shouldn’t have made the list.

About 10 minutes ago, I was pondering my own existence. Then I decided that it didn't matter.
