Man, I cant wait to see how our special teams are going to be this year. We added Ellis Hobbs and Jeremy Maclin to the team along with ST coach Ted Daisher who, if I remember correctly, coached the Browns 3rd ranked special teams unit last year. Should be another facet of the game that gets better this year as well.

ST

i really hope so, i don’t wanna see felix jones running down the sideline this year!!

"Eagles fans are a passionate group who love their team," said McNabb, "if not the actual players. It's not like winning a Super Bowl before the first month of the season is the hardest thing they've ever asked of me. That'd be all those times they asked me to go kill myself."

No more Demps then huh? That is a drag because he has been a really nice addition to our special teams.

I know this isn’t set in stone but I don’t think he will be fielding kicks if he is the starting Free Saftey. I think that wouldn’t be too smart. Considering the fact that we have other guys that should be able to replace him without a huge dropoff in production.

What do you guys think? Was Demps ‘one and done’ as a kickoff return guy? I think he will be absent from Special Teams unless Sean Jones is the starting FS, which I have heard is a possible because Jones is pretty good himself.

I know, Im surprised they didnt make a bigger thing about it on nfl network or something. They were like “Well here we have a field goal being blocked by a 300 lb man leap frogging over someone, everyday occurances in the NFL”

"If they end up 2-14 and both of those wins came against Dallas, that's a pretty good year."
