"I don't think he's that good a passer, to be honest with you," Jacobs said. Jacobs believes that Romo can't survive as a pure pocket passer. Much of Romo's success comes while improvising on the run. "I'm not a fan of Tony Romo, no. Keep him in the pocket, he's not that good. . . . His luck will be gone sooner or later. If you were to keep Tony Romo in the pocket he's not that effective."

i don't know
romo absolutely destroyed us in the pocket when we couldn’t get to him early in the season.
i’d say keeping him in a game at the end of the season/playoffs isn’t a good idea.
I looked at Ohrnberger in the fourth quarter and he looked back at me. And we said, 'We're not losing this game"

Hahaaa I love this, let the truth be known Brandon.
“romo absolutely destroyed us in the pocket when we couldn’t get to him early in the season”.
You’re right in one sense but lets not forget that was when Tono Oh-no/homo had TO to stretch the field. So now with “team obliterator” gone, I don’t think he will be that effective because I have doubts about Miles Austin’s ability as a reliable pass-catcher. And Roy Williams simply can’t run for sh.t, he’s a possession receiver at best. Jerry “clueless” Jones Trading the 1st, 3rd and 6th to get him was just absurd.

I was going to say the same thing
Jacobs has a big mouth.
He needs to worry about his Giants and start thinking about Chris Gocong. Gocong mashed his gay ass last year and he fumbled. Jacobs should be thinking about that, he doesn’t have to worry about another teams offense.

that was one of my favorite moments last year
if you are brandon jacobs, why do you hit the hurdle button when asante samuels goes for the tackle? regardless…his shit got all fucked up.

i am confused…..Jacobs is talking about Romo why? I could understand if it were Osi saying this stuff…but these 2 will never be on the field at the same time, so why is he wasting his breath talking about a player he’ll never have the ability to compete against head to head???
Shut your mouth Jacobs. I dislike Romo as much as any Eagles or Giants fans, but seriously dude? Spray your shit talking towards someone that you can at least play YOUR game to back up the smack talk!!! How about….a Defensive line or a linebacker or something???

A lot to be made in lawsuits against professional athletes these days. You could video tape the beating you’d receive, so you’d have proof in court. Then later, if you have kids in college some day, you can show them tape and tell them that you took this beating so they could get a good education, and if they f up and party too much, that’s what you’ll do to them.

You mean like Chris Gocong? Who whipped him last year? Yeah, I already said that.

I think Jacobs is over rated
Can’t catch, no cut back, limited speed. If the dude doesnt get a huge hole he averaged 3 yard a carry.

he'd also average 3 YPC if he didn't have Derrick Ward spelling him
…oh wait. he’s in tampa now… ouch

Wow. This guy doesn’t know when to shut the fuck up.

I agree Jacobs is overrated...
He’s a solid back, but very one dimensional. Granted if I’m a defensive back he’s not the guy I want to see charging at me, but does this guy really scare a defense as a whole? It’ll be interesting to see how Jacobs performs with a very inexperienced WR corps and without the team’s best all around back in Derrick Ward. He’s going to see a lot more eight man fronts.
Now as for Tony Romo I agree with Jacobs that he’s an overrated QB, but you don’t need to be talking about a rival’s QB for no good reason. It just doesn’t accomplish anything positive. The guy needs to shut up and play ball.

Doesn't scare defenses?
Ask the mighty Ray Lewis, who refused to meet Jacobs in the hole on a goal line plunge last year. At least he was honest, when asked a question he gave an honest answer. Don’t people normally complain when athletes are monotone and boring in their interviews?
Homer: Aw, twenty dollars! I wanted a peanut!
Homer's Brain: Twenty dollars can buy many peanuts!
Homer: Explain how!
Homer's Brain: Money can be exchanged for goods and services!
Homer: Woo-hoo!

i keep hearing that
not just from you, but i hear a lot of “don’t people complain when athlete’s are monotone.”
Personally, i’ve never complained, and i’ve never heard a complaint. I hear it bout Andy Reid, but never really about players. personally, I rarely give a shit what the players say — what they contribute to the field is what I pay them for. Do I prefer them being good citizens? Yes, to the point where I would contend a bad citizen has a smaller net positive effect on the field than a good citizen (via chemistry, perhaps) of equal value. Other than that, monotone away, fellas.

Who wants boring monotone guys? Mike Richards? Chase Utley? Stew Bradley? Oh wait, I really like monotone guys, that just play hard and take care of business. Never mind.

I hope you referred to the “mighty” Ray Lewis as sarcasm. Everybody keeps praising that criminal, but he looks like (an even fatter) Oprah running around out there chasing RB’s. He’s been the main beneficiary of a good defense for a long time. Worthless piece of turd that.
I'm not ready to move on from #20.
