They do realize Brian Dawkins is no longer and an Eagle and so my interest in what he thinks about anything is greatly reduced, yes? Shit, he’s in the paper almost as much as Nutter.

Psh, I don’t know what they are talking about in the AFC East article. Its not like we didnt give them star players back. The Jets got Lito Sheppherd and the Patriots got Greg Lewis, 2 star players.
(in case you couldn’t tell, that was sarcasm)

i'm going to make a commitment...
i love brian dawkins. he is and probably always will be my favorite eagle of all time…
but as long as he is an active player in the NFL and he’s not wearing Eagles green, i do not care what he says or does. I will cheer for him as i would for a guy like, say, peyton manning… but he is not on my team… i am an Eagles fan first and for most… Brian chose the money… no one can fault him…i certainly do not… but it is the decision he made. He’s a Bronco. I’m an eagles fan! I’d like to stop hearing about him/talking about him so we can all just move on!
8 games in 8-0 we goin.

"Eagles fans are a passionate group who love their team," said McNabb, "if not the actual players. It's not like winning a Super Bowl before the first month of the season is the hardest thing they've ever asked of me. That'd be all those times they asked me to go kill myself."
