Dr. Reid updates Lesean McCoy's injury
Yesterday rookie RB Lesean McCoy left the practice field with what was later deemed to be a sprained thumb. With the news that Brian Westbrook will miss the whole summer, it's understandable that there was extra concern about any injury to McCoy.
Eagles Trainer Rick Burkholder said X-rays were negative and that if McCoy feels better over the weekend he could be back in practice by next week.
Eagles coach Andy Reid offered a less nuanced solution to McCoy's injury.
"It's just his thumb," Reid said. "We'll splint that up and he'll go on. We won't worry about that."

Anyone else notice that ever since we started the “Bird Droppings” section on here, we have birds dropping left and right from the team??
Im only kidding, I like the new section and not that superstitious. The only people who would believe that are people who actually think Andy Reid standing in front of a painting of Obama means we are going to the Super Bowl.
"If they end up 2-14 and both of those wins came against Dallas, that's a pretty good year."
