How Would You Rank Eagles In Fantasy Value
The 2009 Eagles roster is certainly filled with talent, there's no questioning that, but when it comes to determining their fantasy value, it is a toss up. The top fantasy performers are undoubtledly Brian Westbrook and Donovan McNabb, but how do the others stack up. I will attempt to rank all the Eagles' players on their fantasy value. With A being the highest possible rank, and F being the lowest possible rank.
QB Donovan McNabb - A
RB Brian Westbrook - B+
RB LeSean McCoy - C-
RB Lorenzo Booker - D+
WR DeSean Jackson - B
WR Kevin Curtis - B-
WR Jason Avant - C
WR Jeremy Maclin - C-
WR Hank Baskett - D+
TE Brent Celek - B
TE Cornelius Ingram - C-
Defense/Special Teams - A-
K David Akers - B
Now I realize that these grades, especially on the younger guys and backups, are not completely correct. For example, if Westbrook suffers another injury during the season, McCoy and Booker would have an increased value, but for now, these would be how I rank the Eagles' players. Do you agree with mine? Do you have any different opinions? Let me know. I want this to be a good debate on the players' rankings.

As for the rankings ...
… I really like D-Jax to do more of what he did last year, maybe with a few more TDs.
I also expect Leonard Weaver, who you don’t have listed, to eat up a bunch of red-zone opportunities and maybe score several TDs. The past few seasons the birds have had no problems getting into the Red Zone, they just haven’t finished well.
Not sure I’d touch Ingram yet, and McCoy is a Westbrook handcuff only.
Maclin might come on late in the year, or help if your league reward return yards, but I wouldn’t draft him out of the gate. Maybe with a late pick & stash in a deep league. But rookie WRs, I tend to let the other owner believe the hype and draft them and I’ll take my 1,000 yards & 8 TDs from the Joey Galloway types I draft six rounds later.
I’d draft Westbrook obviously, and get McCoy to cuff him.
I’d draft McNabb, and you should probably be able to wait several rounds until most of the premier RBs and WRs are off the board.
I’d draft Celek, Jackson and Curtis (maybe), and that’s it, depending on the format. Avant might have a bunch of catches, if your league rewards those. I’d keep an eye on Reggie Brown.
The D/ST should be beast.

Weaver
The only reason I didn’t rank Weaver is because he is a FB…and FB’s do not usually get involved in fantasy leagues

Donovan McNabb
I feel that Donovan is going to have an above average fantasy year, especially if Westbrook is healthy enough to gather some touchdown receptions.

i gotcha apparently its pissin down everyones back today.

I picked up maclin on one of my autopick teams I figured he would be more valuable down the stretch than Mark Clayton
