Stallworth gets 30 days
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte' Stallworth began serving a 30-day jail sentence Tuesday for killing a pedestrian while driving drunk in Florida, a punishment made possible by his cooperation with investigators and the fervent wish by the victim's family to put the matter behind them.

Nice to be rich...
My buddy just got six months for hitting a guy while drunk. The guy wasn’t hurt bad, insurance took care of everything, and my friend did everything right for the 12 months it took to get his trial heard. The only thing he didn’t do was buy off the victim’s family.
For the record, a drunk driver killed my grandfather, so I’m not advocating soft sentencing for drunk driving.
