CB Hobbs Should Not Be Counted Out
In a relatively crowded cornerback group (which now contains Sheldon Brown, Asante Samuel, Jack Ikegwuonu, Courtney Robinson, Joselio Hanson, Macho Harris, Dimitri Patterson, and Trae Williams), the 5'9", 195 lb. I agree, he's a lock to make the roster as a
primary kick returner and depth CB. He might not break the Sheldon/Asante/Joselio rotation at first, but he’s talented enough at CB to step in should any one of them miss a game or a portion of the season.
We’ve had some deep secondaries, but with Mikell/Jones/Demps at safety and then whoever else makes it out of Ike & Harris, et. al., this has big potential to be our deepest.
Would not be surprised if Maclin & Hobbs started the year as KORs.
