were gonna see his biggest impact
on special teams … and i still think avant takes the roster spot for 3 … maclin will only get more time if he does incredible things when he does get the ball … hes gonna need to turn heads because desean is our boy right now with curtis

Agreed
HOWEVER, if Curtis ends up being not ready this could mean Maclin could get some more playing time — kinda like Jackson did last year.
I’m actually a little worried about Curtis. He was great as he got healthier last year but two surgeries in two years doesn’t bode well — and I like the guy a lot.

from what i read, i think it was actually a planned surgery. It was just to go in and clean up the surgery from last year. Nothing to be too worried about. He supposed to be perfectly fine for camp.
"Eagles fans are a passionate group who love their team," said McNabb, "if not the actual players. It's not like winning a Super Bowl before the first month of the season is the hardest thing they've ever asked of me. That'd be all those times they asked me to go kill myself."

I love the way this guy talks
He’s definitely got his head on straight, knows his place as a rookie. With a receptive, positive attitude like that he should learn quickly. I’ll bet he’s producing 60-70 yards per game by week 11 on top of his special teams contributions.
About 10 minutes ago, I was pondering my own existence. Then I decided that it didn't matter.

obviously Maclin’s biggest problem is he’ll be compared to Jackson with everything he does.

exactly. What DeSean did was amazing. I really don’t think Maclin will put up DeSean numbers, but he will have a lot of pressure to though.
Asante is better then Jack... You can call me AIBTJ

+1
"In a couple of weeks or a month, I'll be excited about this team," Dawkins said. "I've got to get used to saying that -- I'm a Bronco." Then he paused. "I'll tell you one thing -- I'll always be an Eagle."

typical dumbass philly sports reporter
“can we really get excited about a rookie receiver that probably won’t have much of an impact until post Donavon” ?? WTF ? Get a fucking clue douche bag. Are you trying to start the “McNabb wants out of Philly” shit again? Maclin won’t contribute for 2 full seasons? #5 won’t get an extension? How the hell do you know any of this, asshole? Quit trying to make yourself look smarter than you really are by spouting off at the mouth like you know something the rest of us don’t. The reality is, to intelligent readers/viewers, you get disregarded as the dumbass you truly are… so, STFU, you dirty fuck-stick. I’m so glad I don’t live in Philly and have to deal with these Eagles ‘experts’, and feel for my fellow Eagles fans who are stuck with this BS…. sorry for the vulgarity

It's cool....
Only JITBA considers the word “intelligent” as vulgar, most likely the rest of us share your views in your post.

I agree with NFC..
Those statements reallt pissed me off too. How the fuck does he know whats gonna happen to Donovan! Or that that its gonna take JMac that long to contribute!! I hate reporters who think they know it all!
Gonna miss Dawk a WHOLE lot next year..
