BGN 2009 Tailgate !

Okay ladies and gents ,
I along with others started entertaining this idea last year and we were all anticipating to act on it this year. BGN Members have expressed great interest on meeting up for a tailgate at the least and some going into the game if not all of us. Here is the following official schedule of games. We could of course just tailgate for an away game as well, but id much rather be there when the birds are there because ill most likely be getting a ticket.
Now for those of you who haven't tailgated with the Scotty Express before it was 35 $ last time for unlimited food, beer and they also have raffle tickets you can buy to win officially licensed autographed items. Now they made the draft party their "annual fund raiser" so im not sure how much a normal tailgate party would cost. Good people and good times is what i had when i partied with them on the draft. We could simply do that and not have to worry about bringing our own tailgating stuff or we could organize whos bringing what.
Well lets get to voting on the game and throw all your input in the comments and feel free to rec this so it will stay up top. If we do agree to bring our own tailgaiting gear ill edit the post and put a list of things we all agree we need and put check marks next to them as people volunteer. Im down for whatever.

yeah this state is worthless. You can’t buy any real domestic beer. It is all 3.2 percent alcohol and I’m pretty sure all beer in bars is 3.2 percent. The only real beer you can get is import stuff and they only sell that warm at liquor stores.

but I like Keystone Light. There I said it. I was a long time Coors light drinker, and I tell you give yourself the blind taste test, and you cant tell the difference. I dont even really categorize it with like natty/beast. And for around 10 bones less a 30pk, its been my brew of choice since my father in law turned me onto it like 3 yrs ago.

the saints game cause i cant wait lol but i dont care which week it is ill make it and get a ticket …. i know a ticket guy but where gonna get maybe a few bucks of stubhub prices , but he has more tickets that we can see on the stubhub sites and he could probably get us all in one row. If we did go through him we could get a package deal probably and maybe save a little money and each person will be able to individually call him and charge their cards with him so people wont have to worry about sending money to me or anything like that even though you could trust me if we had to :P

Guys, a consideration of this should probably be “what game can the most people get tickets for” (or are willing to pay scalper prices for).
It’d probably be impossible for people to sit together, but standing room only kind of ruins the tailgating because you have to get into the stadium really, really early to get a good spot.
I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.

By all means, I am in no way bashing management. It was a smart move both on the field and with business to let Dawkins go and move on. That said, wearing orange isn’t to spite the Eagles, more to show our love for BDawk. Wouldn’t it be worth it to see Dawkins probably in tears at the site of supporting him? And it isn’t like we have to wear Broncos jerseys, last time I checked the Flyers wore orange. Again, it is to support Dawkins not spite Eagles management.

don’t bite my head off here I just threw in a suggestion. lol I definitely didn’t say wear a Broncos jersey, I’d commit Seppuku if I did. I think a Dawkins jersey is probably a better idea after thinking about it. I actually got that idea from a friend as soon as the schedule was produced. He was still in mourning from the loss of Dawkins, which is why he brought upon the idea.

I personally think wearing another teams colors is not a tribute to Dawk but a slap in the face of your team. I went to the A.I. return I wore a Sixers jersey but cheered for him when he came out and he cried. Wearing another teams colors is not a tribute to Dawk it is just plain stupid.
When they call his name stand your ass up and scream and shout and clap, that is the true tribute. The orange out was an idea brought about by a bunch of people who are bitter about Dawk leaving, not as a tribute to him.

Dawkins was the cornerstone of the Eagles defense for more than a decade, he is an Eagle regardless of what Jersey he wears. I agree the Eagles are our team, and I am not saying wear a Broncos jersey. A Flyer’s orange would be perfect right?

Soman, how does your movie end? Does brian dawkins rip off his broncos jersey unveiling an eagles jersey underneath halfway through the game then we all live happily ever after? I advise everyone to not wear a broncos jersey or orange. Orange is the color of our opponents. I think an ear wrenching roaring stadium when they announce b. dawk’s name would suffice.
