Stories from around the NFC East blogs
The time between the draft and preseason gets pretty boring besides a few minicamp highlights here and there. Just thought id share some stories that caught my eye.
Over at Bloggingtheboys.com, they have updates on the practice bubble collapsing incident. Coach Joe DeCamillis broke a few verterbrae in his lower back and is undergoing surgergy. Coach Rich Behm also is having surgery on his spinal coard and looks to be in more critical condition. Prayers go out to their families. I hope everyone is ok. At the end of the post you can find a video shot from inside the bubble as it collapses. Its pretty unreal.
Just a fanpost I thought worth mentioning also from Bloggingtheboys.com, its been reported that Jerry Jones was interested in Maclin and was looking into possible trades. The talks were not as serious as the giants were but if Maclin continued to fall, the cowboys could have made a possible trade. You can read if for yourself here.
I just wanted to point out one fanpost from over at Hogshaven.com
The post is titled Who Fielded the Best Rookie Class. It goes over each NFC East teams new rookies and breaks each team down. At the end you can vote for which team had the best draft. I can tell you that the cowboys came in way last in this poll. If you continue to read the comments, you'll find that the Redskin fans have some pretty opinionated views on eagles fans as well as the skills of our new tackle Jason Peters. Most of these comments are out of jelousy though.
Last but not least I checked out Bigblueview.com. To be honest I couldnt really find any recent news about the giants. I guess they're just taking the wait and see approach. Or maybe they just went into hiding because they know were going to crush them next year. If I find anything interesting any time soon, ill be sure to report it.

He’s a scout actually, and they’re reporting he has been paralyzed. Just absolutely horrible.

law suit?
i can’t imagine him losing his job, but still he will not be able to do everyday things?
would he be able to sue the cowboys or the people who made/put up the bubble?

They’re not very active over at BigBlueView are they? You would think there would be some good posts seeing as they have such a large fan base.
