Day Two Mini-Camp Notes:

Just got done looking at some practice footage from the second mini-camp and wanted to share some quick notes with you guys:

-Stacy Andrews is still rehabbing his knee. Also Todd Herrmans had a minor procedure to scope out his knee, with that said the starting O-line was Peters LT McGlynn LG Jackson C Cole RG Shawn Andrews RT.

- Some notes on the starting D .. Demps again was starting at FS :) ... Sheldon was the RCB but Hobbs was rotating in with him and the second team.. also Parker was on the starting team with Victor rotating in with him. Akeem Jordan was also on the starting D. Macho was again the 2nd team FS and Sean Jones was the 2nd team SS

-I didn't get to see to much from Maclin, he is basically working with the 1s 2s and 3s .. During the 1s he was lined up on the right side and did a 5-7 yard hitch and was just completely blanketed by Hanson very very nice covered from him it was nice to see. The very next play Maclin was on the left side and did a 10 yard out Kolb threw a laser to the sideline and J Mac had a very nice catch got the feet in and everything looked very quick.

-Ingram is catching EVERYTHING and just looks like a dominate presence out there. He looks big, fast and athletic out there he will be a mismatch for many Linebackers. I will keep you guys updated if i see anything else.

..I mean all the CBs were rotating but Hobbs did take some reps with the 1st team nothing to be concerned about.. Sheldon had a nice practice ..he broke up a bomb down the field that McNabb threw

Where is he? Is he injured? Is he really worse than McGlynn? Cole I’m pretty surprised that he seems to have fallen down the depth charts.

Max is still rehabbing the knee thats why he is not in there…Cole hasn’t fallen down the depth charts he is playing RG with the 1s right now because Stacy is rehabbing as well… and i can assume Cole with be 2nd string guard or center come season..

I’m surprised Macho is already on the two-deep over Baker, but I hope he makes the squad. With Dawk gone the secondary is lacking a good nickname and I’ll finally be able to get an Eagles jersey with my name on it.

Just a Question

Was Ingram making the catches againt the 1’s or the 2’s? coz the 2’s didn’t look all that great out there against Kolb

He made catches on both.. granted there was bunch of different guys rotating on every play so you can’t really call it 1s and 2s I suppose … I mean it’s mini-camp it’s basically a passing camp..I thought Kolb had some nice throws yesterday and today…. but believe me you will be impress with Ingram .. I can’t wait to see him put on pads and see if he can put it all together.

I did say ingram was gonna be the best tight end in this draft and that there are rumblings that he reminds people of shannon sharp/Antonio gates ! I called him my Tom brady pick of the draft 5 years from now its gonna be a big deal that he was a 5th round pick

Well

TE is one of those positions where you can find real quality players in the later rounds. It takes some searching, but the talent always seems to be there waiting to get picked up. I mean, Jason Witten was a 3rd rounder, right? Gates was undrafted.

About 10 minutes ago, I was pondering my own existence. Then I decided that it didn't matter.

he'll be great

i have season tickets for UF games, and ingram is the real deal. he’s an amazing guy who decided to make the change from QB to receiver for the good of the team, and he quickly caught on. i’m not sure he’ll ever be a good blocker, but the man can find holes in the defense. once he has the ball, he’s tough to tackle, and he’s great at tucking it away so that the smaller defenders that are being carried by him can’t knock it out. he’ll be a great pass catcher, and a demon in the red zone.

How about Joe Mays?

Is he making any progress? He was all over the field in the preseason last year. I haven’t heard anything about him since.

Mays was working with the 2s and 3s…It’s more or less a passing camp however he had a really nice cross the field deflected pass… he has amazing range.. the Pats preseason game last year was no fluke.
